Introducing Emma Wyman, War and Aether’s Social Media Assistant! As you probably noticed W&A has been posting more regularly than before, this is due to the fact that W&A now has two people working on social media rather than just Alex! Let’s get to know more about Emma!

Q1: What's your role with War and Aether?
Emma Wyman (EW): I have been a tabletop development tester for War and Aether for almost 2 years but more regularly within the last year. Recently, Zubie (Alex) approached me about hiring me on as a social media assistant (as I currently work in marketing at my day job) and I’ve been having a blast making content for a game I love playing!
Q2: What's your favorite class to play in an RPG?
EW: I’m very much still experimenting with different playstyles and classes as I haven’t had as much experience with tabletops as other people but I found that I enjoy being either a sneaky-sneak rouge or a fight first-think later tank character.
Q3: What's your favorite Tabletop Story?
EW: One of my favorite Tabletop stories is from a few months ago. This was my first time playing with the party we have currently and we were playtesting one of Zubie’s (Alex’s) tabletops. While we started in Act II of the campaign, most of the party made new characters instead of recycling their old ones (as most of this party was involved in Act I) except for Tom-Tom (Tom in “Meet the Party” post). Our party met with Death himself and he wanted to give us a deal. We would ignore this instance and let him on his merry way, and in return he would let us survive. Tom-Tom was the party leader and his character had a walking cane and in an intense moment he said, “yeah… I can’t let you do that.” and pulled out his hidden sword from the cane. As a party we agreed to this battle and we were gonna face Death in our first session. We were all aware that this instance could be an instant party wipe and no one in the group cared even though we finished making most of the characters a couple hours before. It’s my favorite story because now I find myself making bigger choices like that and I’m getting more and more comfortable with those risks.
Q4: What's your favorite food?
EW: Okay I can’t just pick one but Sushi (love me a good Volcano Roll) and Crab Rangoons/Cream Cheese Wontons.
Q5: What do you do with your spare time?
EW: It depends how I’m feeling but mainly video games, watching tv or movies, and reading. Currently my two go-tos have been playing Minecraft or watching Grey’s Anatomy!
